To promote technical education in this area Govt. has taken
many steps. Govt. Polytechnic Lehragaga is already running in the campus of the
Institute since 1996. The institute is named after renowned freedom fighter of
“Parja Mandal movement” Baba Hira Singh Ji Bhattal Late father of Ex Deputy
Chief Minister Sardarni Rajinder Kaur Bhattal.
